RUTE SUNTRACKER SEMI-FINALIST IN AMERICAN-MADE SOLAR PRIZE

RUTE is thrilled to share that we’ve been selected as one of 20 semifinalist teams selected to advance in the American-Made Solar Prize Round 6! We were awarded $50,000 for our RUTE SunTracker PV tracking hardware for cattle pastures. The American-Made Solar Prize follows on the December win with Oregon Startup Center in Beaverton Oregon.

RUTE SunTracker component certifications are ongoing since 2022 at Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center, in Scappoose, Oregon. We look forward to commercializing the world's first cattle ‘pasture voltaic’ technology at an Oregon ranch in spring 2023. Please stay tuned.

About RUTE Foundation Systems:

RUTE Foundation Systems provides the most stable and cost effective support structures for wind and solar generation equipment. RUTE commercialized the RUTE BXG Foundation in 2018, a wind tower foundation based on bridge engineering, that lasts 3 times longer than a conventional foundation and uses 50% less concrete. RUTE SunTracker division started in 2021, a year ahead of the boom in demand for utility scale agrivoltaic solutions.

The U.S. Inflation Reduction Act is projected to triple the demand for wind and solar for over 10 years, perfectly aligned with RUTE’s material reduction and installation efficiency for both BXG and SunTracker products.
